Air Drive F-16 crashes in New Mexico; Pilot ejected

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, NM (AP) – Air Force Base says a pilot was successfully ejected from an F-16 before the fighter crashed during a training flight in southern New Mexico.

Officials said in a statement that the pilot was being rushed to hospital for treatment, but no information was disclosed of any injuries to the pilot, whose identity was not disclosed.

The statement said a board was investigating the crash and the cause was not immediately cleared up.
