Albuquerque FBI Residents Academy is accepting functions

The program focuses on topics such as counterterrorism, white-collar crime, cybercrime, violent crime, hostage rescue, crimes against children and bank robbery in order to educate and stimulate discussion.

To be eligible you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Have no criminal convictions or be investigated as the subject of criminal proceedings
  • Live or work in the jurisdiction of the local FBI field office
  • Pass a background check and a fingerprint check
  • Have availability consistent with all course sessions

The course takes place every Wednesday 6pm – 9pm from March 9th to April 27th at the Albuquerque Field Office. The program will also include Friday sessions in April, still TBA.

To enroll, you must be nominated by FBI employees, past Citizens Academy alumni, or community leaders, and then selected by Special Agent in Charge Raul Bujanda.

Applications are possible until December 3rd. Applicants who are not accepted will be placed on the waiting list for the next course.
