Albuquerque man celebrates his success with loud glitches

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – A University of New Mexico student said he was beaten so badly he had to be hospitalized just for being Jewish. Now the Albuquerque Police Department, prosecutors, and the FBI are involved. While this is still an ongoing investigation, the DA office said they were extremely concerned about the possibility that this was motivated by anti-Semitism.

A UNM student said he was attacked, beaten and kicked at a party in an apartment at The View, formerly known as The Cottages, Friday night. According to the incident report, he is believed to be motivated by hate. Roni Saponar said he wore a shirt that read “JUST JEW IT” that night. He said he was a Jew. According to the report, Saponar went to the bathroom before being pushed and beaten from behind. About six men started punching and kicking him while using multiple anti-Semitic bows, according to the report.
