Duo charged with a number of robberies throughout Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – The Tokyo Olympics are underway and nearly a dozen athletes from the University of New Mexico are participating. A former Lobo track star even came home to prepare for the Games in a unique research lab on campus. Josh Kerr ran for the Lobos from 2015 to 2018. He stopped at UNM to train before going to Japan, but it was not your average workout.
This environmental chamber is located in the UNM’s exercise science laboratory. The unique space can simulate hot and humid conditions and it can get very warm and very humid. “Up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit,” said UNM special professor Fabiano Amorim. “We are also able to build up to 70, 80 percent humidity.”
