Housing Company Accepts Rental Help Purposes, Albuquerque Journal

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Applications for rental assistance are now being accepted, the Albuquerque Housing Authority said Monday.

Pre-applications for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program assistance will be accepted through June 30, while pre-applications for Project-Based Voucher Apartments will begin June 8 and will remain open until the end of the year.

Households that have previously applied for the Housing Choice Voucher program in accordance with Section 8 and have not received a voucher must reapply. Applications will be selected at random and reviewed for eligibility, said Linda Bridge, general manager of AHA.

Applications for project-based voucher apartments will be reviewed in the order in which they are received, she said.
