New Mexico Information Podcast: “Rust” Capturing and Weapons on Film Units

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – This morning is calm and cool with no problems for the morning commute. We’re still waiting for the next storm to arrive tonight through Wednesday. Until then we will see clouds moving from west to east over the state today and the small chance of some rain showers in the west mountains, SW Colorado and the northern mountains of New Mexico until tonight and overnight. A trail of up to 3 “of snow will be possible in the San Juan Mountains, but in the northern mountains of New Mexico, primarily the Tusas, northeast of Chama, only up to about half an inch will be possible. Temperatures will be around 2 to cool down 6 degrees from yesterday’s high.

The cold front moves until Wednesday and keeps the temperatures on Wednesday another 5 to 10 degrees cooler. The winds get stronger as the system crosses the state, and gusts will blow up to about 30-45 through the Four Corners and east of the central mountain range. The wind will peak in the early afternoon.
