New Mexico is in search of public enter on the proposed guidelines for hashish producers
The public is encouraged to weigh up via online public comments.
“Working with established producers and between governments, we have jointly developed a producer framework that we believe will meet the needs of all parties – and bring a streamlined and efficient adult cannabis program to New Mexico,” said Linda Trujillo, who oversees the program, is the department that contains the newly created cannabis control department. “However, the rules proposed today do not mean that the conversation is over. Through public comments, public hearings, and ongoing discussions, we will continue to strengthen these rules for the best possible results. “
A public hearing on the proposed rules is scheduled for June 29th. The state is working to revise and finalize the rules before September 1, the deadline for cannabis growers to begin licensing.
