SANTA FE, NM (AP) – New Mexico health officials say they are preparing to respond to reluctance to get COVID-19 vaccines in some communities while general interest in getting a vaccination increases.
Health Secretary Tracie Collins said Wednesday that the state is looking into recruiting community champions, who are trusted residents of communities with hesitant vaccines who can address safety and efficacy concerns.
