  • A woman in her 70s from Eddy County. The person was hospitalized with underlying illnesses.
  • A woman in her 70s from McKinley County. The person was hospitalized with underlying illnesses.
  • A man from Roosevelt County in his 80s. The person was a resident of Goodlife Senior Living in Portales.
  • A woman in her 40s from San Juan County. The person was hospitalized with underlying illnesses.

The number of deaths of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 4,497.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 933 other COVID-19 cases. As of Thursday, New Mexico has reported a total of 228,558 cases.

The state reported that 415 people are currently being hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.
