The 10-digit election begins this weekend in New Mexico

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – According to a WalletHub study, New Mexico is one of the states with the lowest level of gambling addiction. The study placed the state in the bottom five places at 46, followed by Michigan, Maine, North Carolina, and Utah.

WalletHub based their ranking on two factors: gaming friendliness and gambling problem and treatment. These factors were then rated using a variety of metrics, including Commercial and Tribal Casinos per Capita and Slot Machines per 1,000 Population. “Each metric was rated on a 100-point scale, with 100 being the highest gambling reliance.
