The ban on plastic luggage in Albuquerque will resume
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – Albuquerque’s Parks and Recreation Department closes National Parks and Recreation Month by highlighting a recent study by WalletHub that places the city in the country’s top ten for parks and recreational activities. Albuquerque was eighth, just behind Atlanta, Georgia and St. Louis, Missouri.
According to a press release, the study compared US cities using 48 recreational indicators – including facility accessibility, park quality, and weather. Albuquerque ranked third for the quality of parks and fifth for the proportion of parkland within city limits. The city also received good marks for the number of tennis courts and playgrounds.
