The New Mexico State Truthful is the primary to make use of new ionization expertise

Expo New Mexico said they have always had a high standard of cleaning, especially when working with animals and food.

“The show has always been safe, a lot of the things people are doing now are things we did before the pandemic,” said Dan Mourning, general manager of Expo New Mexico.

The show has always had hand sanitizer available and strict bathroom cleaning schedules.

“What we’ve done has been able to improve those protocols, improve the ability to disinfect and protect people, and we’ve done it with the technology that is out there,” said Mourning.

This year, the state fair will be the first state to use new technologies to purify the air and keep the stables cool.

“There are four of these fans that use ionization technology, in other words, the viruses are knocked down by that ionization process and this is monitored from Louisville there,” said Grief.

While these ions kill viruses, they are perfectly safe for both animals and humans.

“Necessity is inventive, and we love that people have taken their products to the next level, and we’re excited to show that this technology not only exists, but uses it to protect the people who come to New Mexico State Fair, ”said grief.

Another way to protect people is to go to the Landesmesse directly on the exhibition grounds.

“If you get a vaccine at the fair, we’ll give you a free ticket to return to the fair,” said Mourning.
