The primary turkey rut since 2018 hits the streets of Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – After a chilly Thanksgiving Day across New Mexico, the weather will be warmer again next week. Cloudy and Rainy Weather Wednesday gave way to a sunny and mostly sunny sky for Thanksgiving Day. A back door cold front left temperatures much cooler today, however, with highs a few degrees below average for this time of year.
With clear skies and already cool air, it will be a very cold night for most of the state, but Friday’s high temperatures will be a few degrees warmer. An upper low will hit northern Mexico on Friday and Saturday, bringing a spotty chance for showers to far southern New Mexico for the weekend. The rest of the state remains dry. A back door cold front on Saturday will bring temperatures just a few degrees cooler in the eastern half of the state on Saturday and a degree or two cooler in western New Mexico on Sunday.
