November 13th – December 22 – Stories and Music in Heaven – Visit the Balloon Museum for Stories in Heaven and Music in Heaven, a showcase of award-winning early childhood education programs featuring stories, music, movement, and art. Each session is followed by handicraft activities on the weekly theme. Participation is free.
November 19th – January 1st – Lights of Enchantment – Lights of Enchantment is a drive-through Christmas light show with over 350 light shows with over a million light points. Each ticket allows a truckload with family and friends.
November 26th – December 24th – New Mexico Artisan Holiday Market – Visit Spur Line Supply Co. November 26th – December 24th to shop for locally made jewelry, fashion, arts, home decor, crafts, gifts, and more.
November 27th – December 30th – River of Lights – Enjoy the magic of millions of twinkling lights and nearly 600 dazzling Christmas shows at New Mexico’s largest walk-in lightshow. River of Lights was named a top 10 in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice for Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights in 2020.
Dec 10 3rd Annual Toys for Tats – Bring an unpackaged toy / toy worth $ 30 or more with a valid receipt and receive a free 2 × 2 simple tattoo. The event helps children who are affected by homelessness and whose parents are incarcerated in order to maintain a strong bond between parent and child. 11th December – CABQ Community Block Party – Join the city of Albuquerque during Community Block Parties. Rental assistance requests will be available. The event will take place at the Dennis Chavez Community Center from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. this week
11th December – Book Drive & Wrapping – Bring a new or already loved book with you and enjoy the Christmas fun. Eating is Free Albuquerque, in collaboration with the Rio Grande Food Project and Libros for Kids, is holding a book campaign to give away Christmas gifts in conjunction with a meal box.
11th December – Free Community Health and Wellness Fair – Free community health and wellness fair hosted by Bridge to Health and has free wellness tests and health screenings (including dental and eye tests), COVID-19 vaccinations, free Giveaways for healthy food, health insurance registration, fun activities for. offers children and more. 11th December – Los Ranchos Holiday Art Market – Everyone is invited to the Holiday Art Market on Saturday, December 11th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Check out art, buy gifts, and lots of Christmas cheer. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will perform and visitors will have the chance to win a gift basket with a collection of works of art from the sellers.
11th December–12th – Holiday Market at the Rail Yards – Keeping it local and safe for the holidays, enjoy the best of Burque’s local small business in person at the Albuquerque Rail Yards. Vendors of freshly prepared delicious food and high-quality handcrafted handicrafts will come together to pamper Albuquerque’s Locavore and get the crowd going for the 8th Annual Christmas Market this year. The event starts daily at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Admission is free with free Park & Rides from the zoo and free parking spaces nearby.
11.-12. December – Expo New Mexico Flea Market – New Mexico’s largest open air market is located in Albuquerque on the Expo New Mexico Fairgrounds on Central Avenue west of Louisiana Boulevard. The flea market is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. when the weather is nice.

4th-18th December – Holiday Farm Store Open House at Windrush Alpacas – The store is filled with alpaca fleece items – hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, blankets, carpets, toys, dryer balls and more. Refreshments are free – and maybe you can spot an alpacas or two on the way to the door! Visit during the opening hours of the open house – Saturday, December 4th, 11th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or make an appointment.
11th December – Santa Fe City Rapid Hiring Event – Saturday, December 11, 2021, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Genoveva Chavez Center. Bring proof of education, a valid driver’s license and a vaccination card. You will receive on-site support with applications and interviews on site.
11th December – Elephant Butte Luminaria Beachwalk & Floating Lights Parade – The Luminaria Beachwalk, organized and hosted by Friends of Elephant Butte Lake and Elephant Butte Lake State Park, begins at dusk. 11th December – Bonfires on Bent Street and John Dunn Shops – Hosted by Bent Street and John Dunn Merchants, Bonfires on Bent Street and John Dunn Shops kick off the Christmas and Christmas seasons with bonfires and farolitos as you stroll along and enjoy festivals that taste and snacks Hors d’oeuvres and banquets, music and get-togethers. The event is a popular event for locals and visitors alike, where friends gather. Shops are also decorated for the festivities.
11th December – Glenwood Street Market – The vendors sell handmade items, groceries, jewelry, metal art, cutting boards, pumpkin art, plants, canned foods, organic vegetables, and a variety of common to unusual. The market takes place every Saturday at Mile Marker 51 on Highway 180 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
11th December – Las Cruces Farmers & Crafts Market – Local food, crafts, and entertainment every Wednesday and Saturday in downtown Las Cruces. Market opening times are Wednesday and Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
11th December – Socorro Farmers ‘Market – Visit the Socorro Farmer’s Market, which is part of the New Mexico Farmers’ Market Association. The only non-stop market in New Mexico, during the winter, November through May, is located in the Teen Center at 1002 Ake Ave on Saturdays from 9 am to 11 am.
12th of December – The Railyard Artisan Market in Santa Fe – The Railyard Artisan Market, which started in 2009, represents a wide variety of New Mexico artists and artisans. The Sunday market offers a unique opportunity to enjoy local art and music in the farmers market pavilion. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. you will find ceramics, painting, jewelry, sculpture, fiber art, photography, hand-blown glass, artisan teas and handcrafted herbal products for the body. 🔶 Albuquerque City Offers Free Parking For Vacation Shoppers At Local Businesses – The Department of Municipal Development (DMD) Parking Division now offers free parking on Central Avenue and in Old Town. The city of Albuquerque offers free parking annually to give community members easy access to local businesses. Each parking meter on Central Avenue is free for two hours. Free parking is also available in the old town’s car parks in Central between Romero Street NW and San Felipe Street NW. Free parking in Old Town and on Central Avenue begins Friday November 26th and continues daily through Sunday January 2, 2022. Parking meters display “Happy Holidays” on all parking meters on Central Avenue.

🔶 Postponed: Ribbon Cutting Fitness Park at SWAN Park – Due to bad weather forecasting and to prioritize public health, wellness and safety, the December 10th ribbon cutting event for this facility has been postponed. A larger event takes place in spring.
🔶 NMDOT and UBER Team Up to Make the Roads Safer for the Holidays – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is working with the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) and Uber to provide safe rides across New Mexico during the holidays . The road safety department of NMDOT received a grant from the GHSA to finance the trips through UBER. Uber rides are available Tuesday, November 23, 2021 through Friday, January 3, 2022 and include $ 15 Uber credit and no tip. The driving code is ENDEWI2021. Rides are offered anywhere Uber services are available in the state, with an emphasis on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve.
